Questions Regarding CT Scan Variants and TotalSegmentator Masks in the Test Sets

Questions Regarding CT Scan Variants and TotalSegmentator Masks in the Test Sets

Hello,

I have a question regarding the CT scans provided in the dataset. Upon reviewing the training and validation sets, I noticed that there are, on average, two CT scans per patient. These appear to differ based on the reconstruction kernel used.

For the internal and external test sets, will both kernel versions of the CT scans be provided? Or will only one scan per patient be made available, selected at random?

Additionally, I would like to ask whether the TotalSegmentator-generated segmentation masks will also be provided for the test sets. If not, would it be possible to share the specific parameters or configuration used when generating the masks with TotalSegmentator, so that we can reproduce them consistently?

I would greatly appreciate any clarification on this.

Thank you!

Hi Sunggu,

1- Yes both reconstruction are evaluated.

2- They will not be generated, you can definitely generate them during inference providing that it fits the inference time limit (if longer please contact us for external evaluation). I will ping Benjamin for the specific configurations and update you on that.
